The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 gives you key cancellation rights when you enter into contracts at a distance over the phone, online, from a catalogue or face-to-face with someone who has visited your home, for instance.
These cancellation rights are more generous than if you bought goods or services from a high street shop. For details on your rights when you buy from a high street shop, read the which consumer guide here for further details on the Consumer Rights Act.
Your right to cancel
Your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods.
If your order consists of multiple goods, the 14 day period runs from when you get the last of the batch.
This 14 day period is the time you have to decide whether to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to actually send the goods back.
Your right to a refund
You should get a refund within 14 days of either the trader getting the goods back, or you providing evidence of having returned the goods (for example, a proof of postage receipt from the post office), whichever is the sooner.
A deduction can be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary.
The extent to which you can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop.
Refunding the cost of delivery
The trader has to refund the basic delivery cost of getting the goods to you in the first place, so if you opted for enhanced service eg guaranteed next day, it only has to refund the basic cost.
Making A Purchase
We will endeavour to despatch your package within 24/48 hours although at peak times this may take slightly longer. Orders for RIFs may take 48 hours as we test and chronograph each rifle before shipping. Please bear in mind the couriers delivery Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 6pm (0800 - 1800 hours). We do not directly control the couriers and we cannot obtain a specific delivery time from them.
We ship using myhermes, Royal Mail and TNT postal services.
The cost of delivery will be added to your order total. You can select your preferred method of delivery from the options displayed at the checkout. We reserve the right to adjust shipping methods and costs but this is usually done in your favour and you will be informed by email. For example; we cannot send a £500 rifle by First Class post as it is too long, usually too heavy and is does not have sufficient insurance.
IMPORTANT: All deliveries must be checked by the receiver (customer) BEFORE signing for them. If the package is damaged in anyway either refuse to accept delivery or ask the delivery person to check the contents with you. You should only sign for the goods if you are satisfied. In any other circumstances, please sign the package receipt as "not checked". If a customer fails to follow this and a package is signed for as received in good condition. We may find it difficult (or impossible) to claim compensation in this case.
PLEASE NOTE: It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the legality of importation into their own country. Dave's Custom Airsoft does not accept any responsibility whatsoever if the goods ordered are seized by Customs officials or airport authorities in ours or any other country. If goods are seized, destroyed, damaged through inspection or confiscated in any instance, we accept no responsibility and will offer no form of refund or credit. If the goods are returned to us by the seizing authority in the same condition as they were sent, we will refund your payment for the goods (not the shipping cost) less any fines or charges imposed by that authority for the handling and return of said goods. We will issue the refund only WHEN the goods are received and checked by ourselves.
All damaged deliveries or shortages must be reported within 24 hours of receipt, any longer than this may invalidate your claim.
All damaged deliveries or items not included need to be reported within 24 hours of receipt of your order. Should you wait longer than this and any claims will be invalid (so please check your parcel as soon as it gets to you).
All new items including RIFS from Dave's Custom Airsoft LTD come with a standard 30 days warranty and no more. This covers faulty products or products that do not meet their original requirement.
For airsoft replicas this warranty is voided should you open tamper with the internals of your replica in anyway, mistreat it, use an innaprorpiate battery or gas, use poor quality bbs or modify the item in anyway that changes its original specifications beyond that as it was sold to you.
Batteries, chargers, speedloaders and slings included with replicas are not covered under warranty as these are regarded as 'free' items.
Warranty covers the failure of long life parts such as motors, it does not cover wear and tear (worn pistons etc), externals such as stocks, bodies, rails and sling points, or parts becoming loose through use.
Accidental damage is not covered, care should be taken to store rifles properly. They should not be dropped or used to bear loads.
Our Staff will diagnose the cause of each individual case and inform you appropriately.
Warranties on electric gearboxes are invalidated by using batteries with a voltage higher than 8.4V Nimh or a 7.4v Lipo battery type.

Some custom work taken through Dave's Custom Airsoft LTD is carried out by companies sub-contracted to do the task at hand, for example - Hydro-Dipping. We chose only the finest craftsmen when subcontracting work and maintain the strictest values of custom service, quality and customer privacy.
As a customer you will be informed whether your project will be Sub-Contracted even if partially so. You can then chose whether you would like to share or not share any personnal information relating to your order with ourrelevant sub-contractor.
Dave's Custom Airsoft LTD accepts full and complete responsibility for any work carried out through our 3rd parties & you are protected in just the same way as if you were to order anything else from us.
In line with Dave's Custom Airsoft LTD policy Our Sub-contractors are fully committed to ensuring that our clients receive the very best service & are regularily performance checked.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
In the unlikely event that your new purchase is faulty please get in touch with Dave's Custom Airsoft LTD immediately (firstname.lastname@example.org) to discuss any issue you may be having. At our discretion, a replacement product may be dispatched to you, although this WILL NOT happen until the originally purchased goods are returned and their condition confirmed.
No refunds will be given on any product that has been damaged by neglegence, carelessness or misuse.
Unwanted products must be returned to us within 7 days and must be "AS NEW",un-opened, un-used and in the original, undamaged packaging missing no items from the packaging including the complimentary packet of BB's (if applicable).
Refunds may incur a 10% restocking fee.

OUR STAFF ARE TRAINED TO UNDERTAKE REPAIR AND REMEDIAL WORK. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU ATTEMPT TO DISASSEMBLE ANY PRODUCTS PURCHASED FROM US YOURSELF -DOING SO WILL INVALIDATE YOUR WARRANTY.
PLEASE OBSERVE ANY ADVICE GIVEN AT THE TIME OF PURCHASE CONCERNING BATTERY TYPES AND POWER AS USING AN INCORRECT BATTERY IN YOUR NEW AEG WILL INVALIDATE YOUR WARRANTY.
How do I get my Dave's Custom Airsoft LTD product repaired under its warranty?:
If a product proves faulty within the warranty period due to a manufacturing defect you should contact us immediately. We will then identify the problem and if necessary have the problem resolved under the terms of our guarantee. All valid repairs are free of charge for both parts and labour subject to the following conditions:
Conditions of the Warranty:
Original receipt required as proof of purchase. No products will be worked on under these terms without original proof of purchase.
The Dave's Custom Airsoft LTD warranty does not include any the following:
- Pre-Owned or Second Hand Items, Category 1, Category 2 & Category 3.
- Any transportation costs incurred in transporting the item back to us for repair.
-Any breakages as a result of accidental/negligent damage.
-Any routine maintenance required
-Any faults arising from misuse
-Any faults arising from any repairs not previously carried out by the Dave's Custom Airsoft.
-Any upgrades that have been installed in the product other than those done by the Dave's Custom Airsoft staff
-Any faults arising from the use of poor quality sub standard BB's. We recommend only Blaster (Not Biodegradable), Madbull, G&G, Excel and King Arms.
-Any battery than an 8.4v Nimh or 7.4V Lipo has been used.
-If a Gas Blow Back or Gas Non Blow Back product is being covered under our warranty then our warranty will be void if the item has been used with anything other than 134A Gas.
-Any Feet Per Second (FPS) variance. This may be different from the indicated FPS as this is only a guideline.
-External damage or wear and tear.
Your Dave's Custom Airsoft LTD warranty is also invalidated if:
The product has been altered or adjusted in any way from its original format, this includes all internal upgrades.
Any repairs or maintenance to the item(s) have been carried out by any non Dave's Custom Airsoft LTD or other authorised personnel.
A fault has arisen from the use of poor quality sub standard BB's
You use any gas other than 134A Gas in any Gas Blow Backs or Gas Non Blow Back operated iteams.
All images on the website are as up to date as possible but occasionally manufacturers change colour schemes or designs slightly and images may be out of date. If in doubt please contact us to check that images are still up to date.
Dave's Custom Airsoft LTD reserves the right to change terms and conditions of our warranty from time to time.
Dave's Custom Airsoft LTD do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
