ONLINE ONLY ORDER CANCELLATION 

When checking out with Online Only items in your basket you must accept these terms and conditions before payment, upon which you agree to having read fully these terms and conditions herein. No cash refunds will be made for any requests to cancel Online Only orders before the goods have been received, we are only able to provide store credit under these circumstances. The only situation in which an Online Only Order will be refunded in cash is if the goods take longer than the advertised period to arrive with us (not including the 24hrs required to ship to yourself), or, if the goods are faulty on arrival. 

ON THE SHELF ITEMS ORDER CANCELLATION

From April 2020 onwards PayPal no longer refund fees taken if orders are refunded and thus we have had to pass this onto our customers who place orders and then wish to cancel them, this does not include any situations whereby we need to give a refund due to faulty items etc. This includes orders placed and then cancelled before shipping under all circumstances. Be sure that you want the items you order, before you order them.

You should get a refund within 14 days of either the trader getting the goods back, or you providing evidence of having returned the goods (for example, a proof of postage receipt from the post office), whichever is the sooner. A deduction can be made if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary. The extent to which you can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in a shop.

Your right to cancel an order for goods starts the moment you place your order and ends 14 days from the day you receive your goods. If your order consists of multiple goods, the 14 day period runs from when you get the last of the batch. This 14 day period is the time you have to decide whether to cancel, you then have a further 14 days to actually send the goods back.

These cancellation rights are more generous than if you bought goods or services from a high street shop. For details on your rights when you buy from a high street shop, read the which consumer guide here for further details on the Consumer Rights Act.

The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 gives you key cancellation rights when you enter into contracts at a distance over the phone, online, from a catalogue or face-to-face with someone who has visited your home, for instance.

MAKING A PURCHASE

It is vital that when buying an airsoft rifle, pistol or any other Realistic Imitation Firearm that you provide the information required to prove that you are genuine Airsoft Skirmisher. This is to comply with the Violent Crime Reduction Act 2007. Each order processed that requires cancellation due to the appropriate information not being provided will result in a £15 cancelation, admin and refund fee.

All images on the site are as up to date as possible but occasionally manufacturers change colour schemes slightly and images may be out of date. If in doubt please contact us to check that images are up to date.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order along with the options for making payments which must be made in full at the time the order is placed.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING

PLEASE NOTE: It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the legality of importation into their own country. Dave's Custom Airsoft does not accept any responsibility whatsoever if the goods ordered are seized by Customs officials or airport authorities in ours or any other country. If goods are seized, destroyed, damaged through inspection or confiscated in any instance, we accept no responsibility and will offer no form of refund or credit. If the goods are returned to us by the seizing authority in the same condition as they were sent, we will refund your payment for the goods (not the shipping cost) less any fines or charges imposed by that authority for the handling and return of said goods. We will issue the refund only WHEN the goods are received and checked by ourselves.

IMPORTANT: All deliveries must be checked by the receiver (customer) before signing for them. If the package is damaged in anyway either refuse to accept delivery or ask the delivery person to check the contents with you. You should only sign for the goods if you are satisfied. In any other circumstances, please sign the package receipt as "not checked". If a customer fails to follow this and a package is signed for as received in good condition. We may find it difficult (or impossible) to claim compensation in this case.

The cost of delivery will be added to your order total. You can select your preferred method of delivery from the options displayed at the checkout. We reserve the right to adjust shipping methods and costs but this is usually done in your favour and you will be informed by email.

We will endeavour to despatch your package within 24/48 hours although at peak times this may take slightly longer. Orders for RIFs may take 48 hours as we test and chronograph each rifle before shipping. Please bear in mind the courier’s delivery Monday to Friday between the hours of 8am and 6pm (0800 - 1800 hours). We do not directly control the couriers and we cannot obtain a specific delivery time from them. For On Demand Products orders these times will be significantly longer with items taking 10-30 days to arrive with you. We ship using UPS for UK orders & UPS and Royal Mail for International Orders.

STOCK ERRORS

On the rare occasion that your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. If you have ordered more than one item from the store then we shall contact you via email regarding your delivery schedule.

CARD SECURITY

When the order is placed at our website your payment is processed by the financial intermediary and not on behalf of Dave's Custom Airsoft LTD, We do not hold your card details. All payments are secured.

GUARANTEE

All damaged deliveries or shortages must be reported within 24 hours of receipt, any longer than this may invalidate your claim.

STANDARD WARRANTY

All damaged deliveries or items not included need to be reported within 24 hours of receipt of your order. Should you wait longer than this and any claims will be invalid (so please check your parcel as soon as it gets to you). All new items including RIFS from Dave's Custom Airsoft LTD come with a standard 30 days warranty and are to be used with 7.4v Lipo Only, unless special permission is given to use 11.1v Lipo. High spec items and airsoft weapons with custom work, repairs, builds etc. come with a 6 month warranty as we will have had far more control over their production.

For all airsoft replicas warranty is voided should you open tamper with the internals of your replica in anyway unless permission has been granted by Dave’s Custom Airsoft LTD. The warranty is also void if the replica is clearly misused (example taking it in a river), use of inappropriate batteries or gas types, use poor quality BBs or attempts to modify the item in any way that changes its original specifications beyond that as it was sold to you.

Batteries, chargers, speed loaders and slings included with replicas are not covered under warranty as these are regarded as 'free' items. Warranty covers the failure of long life parts such as motors, it does not cover wear and tear (worn pistons etc.), externals such as stocks, bodies, rails and sling points, or parts becoming loose through use. Accidental damage is not covered, care should be taken to store rifles properly. They should not be dropped or used to bear loads.

Our Staff will diagnose the cause of each individual case and inform you appropriately. If our staff reach a well-reasoned conclusion that the above conditions have been breached you will be charged for any remedial works.

DCA Price Match*

The advertised DCA Price Match* is subject to terms and conditions. A refund for the difference between the cost price of the item purchased and the cheaper product found elsewhere will be made after the order has been placed. Refunds will only be made using the same payment method, card payments will be refunded to the same card, PayPal payments to the same PayPal account and finance payments back via the finance provider. 

We will only Price Match like for like, in stock, UK based products, we will not price match products that are on temporary sale, or, at a price below the manufacturers minimum retail price. Dave's Custom Airsoft LTD reserve the right to decline to price match should we believe there to be any foul play or attempt to deceive the company. 

RETURNS

In the unlikely event that your new purchase is faulty please get in touch with Dave's Custom Airsoft LTD immediately upon delivery (info@davescustomairsoft.co.uk) to discuss any issue you may be having. At our discretion, a replacement product may be dispatched to you, although this WILL NOT happen until the originally purchased goods are returned and their condition confirmed. Where we can we will try to assist you in fixing items that arrive non-working to save you any hassle in returningthem.

No refunds will be given on any product that has been damaged by negligence, carelessness or misuse. Unwanted products must be returned to us within 7 days and must be "AS NEW", un-opened, un-used and in the original, undamaged packaging missing no items from the packaging including the complimentary packet of BB's (if applicable).

Do not return anything to us via Royal Mail.

WARRANTY REPAIRS

If a product proves faulty within the warranty period due to a manufacturing defect you should contact us immediately. We will then identify the problem and if necessary have the problem resolved under the terms of our guarantee. All valid repairs are free of charge for both parts and labour subject to the following conditions

Original receipt required as proof of purchase. No products will be worked on under these terms without original proof of purchase. The Dave's Custom Airsoft LTD warranty does not include any the following:
- Any breakages as a result of accidental/negligent damage.
- Any routine maintenance required.
- Pre-Owned or Second Hand Items, Boneyard Items.
- Any faults arising from misuse.
- Any faults arising from any repairs not previously carried out by the Dave's Custom Airsoft.
- Any upgrades that have been installed in the product other than those done by the Dave's Custom Airsoft staff
- Any faults arising from the use of poor quality substandard BB's. We recommend only BLS, ASG, Guarder, Valkyrie, Longbow, Ares Brands.
- Any battery with power over 7.4V Lipo or equivalent has been used (Unless Permissions given specifically for their use).
- If Gas over than Green Gas for Plastic replicas or Red Gas for Metal replicas has been used.
- Any Feet per Second (FPS) variance. This may be different from the indicated FPS as this is only a guideline.
- External damage or wear and tear.

Your Dave's Custom Airsoft LTD warranty is also invalidated if the product has been altered or adjusted in any way from its original format, this includes all internal upgrades. Any repairs or maintenance required during the warranty period must be carried out by any Dave's Custom Airsoft LTD or other authorised personnel with expressed permission.

Dave's Custom Airsoft LTD reserves the right to change terms and conditions of our warranty from time to time.

WEEE Regulation

We have certain responsibilities as we sell electrical and electronic equipment (EEE).

We must provide a way for your customers to dispose of their old household electrical and electronic equipment when you sell them a new version of the same item. Simply bring them into store and we will complete the required paperwork, we will then recycle / refurbish your item and sell it on. We do not throw any electrical components away as we want to protect the environment and make most use of the worlds resources. 

The waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) regulations apply regardless of how you sell the products, whether direct or by internet, mail order or telephone.
