The M640W is a development of the M600 series of scout lights, replacing the standard SF scout mounting apparatus with a low profile mount allowing for the angle of the light to be adjusted. This means no matter where you want your tactical flashlight positioned it will be possible, whether you use Picatinny attachment rails or M-LOK slots. 

The M640W light is powered by two CR123a cells which can be inserted by unscrewing the bezel (front end) of the light. Included in the package you can find two different tail cap options; a pressure switch compatible tail cap and a simple push-button tail cap. The pressure switch tail cap is compatible with most SF type pressure switches and comes with a simple single switch included with a section of 3M Velcro to attach it to your rifle. The pressure switch provides momentary-on functionality, meaning the light will stay on as long as you are pressing the pressure switch. The push-button provides constant on, but can also be lightly pressed to provide a momentary burst of white light.   

The WADSN M640W also comes packaged with an M-LOK mount, which can be used instead of the pre-installed 20mm Picatinny mount for setups with M-LOK attachment slots available. KeyMod users, no need to feel left out, this M-LOK mount is also compatible with KeyMod! The mount can be swapped out by unscrewing the flat head screw in the hinge. 

The party trick of the M640W is its stroboscopic mode, which is intended to disorient the enemy and make it harder for them to track your movements and location. This is possible thanks to the mode selector surrounding the bezel of the light. By pulling forwards on the textured sections of the bezel, you can unlock it from its current selection, and rotate it into one of three positions; S, denoting strobe, OFF, and WH, indicating standard white light.
