Ares Thompson M1A1 AEG EBB (Real Wood)

One of the most prolific sub machine guns during its era, this version, most notably served on the front lines on all theaters of conflict. The Thompson M1A1 was chambered in the .45ACP round and was seen used by scouts, NCOs, tank crews, etc.  The airsoft version here is a carefully crafted AEG from ARES. One of the most notable features is that this is not a typical AEG as it features EBB (Electronic Blowback).

Much like its real life counter part all the selector switches and magazine releases are all located in the same position. The gun can also be disassembled easily by separating the stock from the body and removing the magazine. This allows the gun to take up much less space during travel.  ARES uses the M1A1 to feature its new battery connector design. The gun's stock features two connection points that connect with the receiver towards the rear. Once you have connected the battery within the stock to its standard small Tamyia connector, you can then simply install the stock back to the receiver to power up your AEG. The M1A1 also features ARES's tried and true E.F.C.S. fire control system.
