VFCs ever so reliable V3 GBB system is now put together extremely well within this beautiful Colt MK18 rifle from Cybergun. The MK18 is the CQB length M4 style rifle used by several branches of the US Military Special Forces, including the likes of the Navy Seals and DEVGRU, Green Berets, Delta Force and The Army Rangers, to name a few. It’s been widely adopted around the world being extremely popular with military and civilian markets. Making it ever so popular within the airsoft community both on looks and practicality as it suits a broad spectrum of different loadout styles and is a great intermediate length making it good for both CQB and outdoor gameplay. VFC and Cybergun have done a fantastic job replicating the real firearm in terms of looks, feel and operation.

It’s realistic blowback operation will be sure to put a smile on the face of any airsoft player who enjoys the immersion of the GBBR platform, it’s crisp and snappy and consistent. The overall finish is fantastic and the receiver has an almost anodised look and texture to it. The polymer furniture is tough and robust and imitates the real ones very well, though obviously with it being a GBBR, you can swap these out for real surplus furniture if you wish to do so. The hop-up can be adjusted through the vent holes in the handguard, it’s a wheel with serrations that is visible at the base of the barrel by the nut. Though it may be a bit finicky at first, the hop wheel is sturdy and tactile and stays in position once set, it won’t really require any more adjustments once you’ve decided your bb weight.
