The 417 can also be used as a solid 7.62mm battle rifle for those who prefer that calibre of weapons, with a 6-position adjustable stock, 20mm Rail system and high angle pistol grip this weapon is incredibly versatile and comfortable carrying for long games.

As with all VFC AEGs the internals of this rifle are solid and reliable with VFCs latest self-shimming gears, this makes for smooth and reliable firing. The Version 2.2 gearbox in this rifle has some advantages over standard V2 gearboxes including increased cylinder volume to maximise fps. As well as this the motor in this rifle is housed at a steeper angle which allows the use of traditional pistol grips and anything that will come out in the future.
