The STG44 is the great, great, great grandfather of the assault rifle concept and was massively ahead of its time in terms of design and construction methods. The inventors of this rifle went onto work for Spain on the production of the CETME series rifles, thereafter the designers went back to Germany where under German production they introducted the the G3 series of rifles, this led to the long lineage of HK firearms based on this design concept such as HK33, HK53, HK MP5 etc. 

This faithful real wood and steel replica from AGM is solid and dependable enough using a V2 full metal gearbox with 8mm bearings. Naturally the internal performance of this rifle being of chinese manufacture leaves alot to be desired and hence we suggest you tick our high spec package to get the most out of this replica.
